Carleton CarCalcs® Automotive Fees & Sales Tax API
Carleton CarCalcs® is an integrated software component API allowing comprehensive Sales Tax, Registration, and Dealer Fee inputs to complement the CarletonCalcs® loan and lease origination components. The application allows for seamless dealer onboarding and real-time access to registration and dealer fee values. The data returned from the API is delivered in a format easily consumed by the CarletonCalcs® Loan Origination (payment computation) module for the precise calculation of retail sales or leases.
The Carleton CarCalcs® Sales Tax and Dealer Fee API integrates Automotive Titling Corporation's Title and Registration product into a comprehensive single data channel delivery service. This service combines with Carleton's Compliance and Research Department's comprehensive library of dealer-based fees, tax base, and lessor/DMS settings. Carleton has utilized this library over the past ten years to validate and implement calculations with our CarletonCalcs® Loan Origination and Lease modules.

The APIs leverage Carleton's Compliance and Research Department's default library of tax rates, tax base and fee settings
Carleton has utilized this library over the past ten years to validate and implement tax calculations nationwide within our CarletonCalcs Loan Origination and Lease modules.
These web services can be used as a foundation to provide the default tax and fee setting framework for your administration system.
